Kyra has put me in charge of the "In the Kitchen" forum so listen up: LOL!

Our mission: To save all the yummy recipes we have collected over the years
Our strategy: To divide and conquer
Our motto: To bravely go where all the TCO cooks have gone before

*giggle*

Assignments: Irina - Meats & Main Entrees
Trisha - Appetizers, Party Foods & Bev
                  Shera - Desserts
Judy - Casseroles and Crock Pot Cooking
Stacie - Salads and Soups, Stews & Sandwiches
Me - Vegetables & Side dishes

Attack pattern: Go into each category and copy and paste the recipes into the new forums. If a thread in your assigned forum is chit chat about food, don't worry about scrolling all the way through it looking for recipes, just skip it. We won't miss but a few that way and it will save precious time and energy. Let’s name the new thread like this, "recipe name - original poster's user name, mm/yy". Example, Summer Sausage Soup - Cyndi, 05/08

I will be going through the Shue Making me Hungry and getting out all of Shue's recipes and advice as well. I will also scan through the Food for Thought and make sure there are no recipes hanging out in there.

As soon as you are done with a forum, post a note in food for though (new board) letting me know which one it is and that it is ready to be deleted on the old board.

Also, if your computer doesn't like you going back and forth between the old and new site and it gets too hard, just let me know. Some people's cookies might get confused I am told. I don't ever think I have seen a confused cookie but I am sure it would taste just as good as a clear minded cookie. Wink

Ask any questions you have. I am all ears. :)

Oh, BTW, don't forget to make sure you are looking at all the posts in the old board. You will have to change the Display Options at the bottom of the forum to "from the begining". :)

Alrighty then...in "Food for Thought" on the old board...will you start on page 10 and go forward looking through all the threads for any recipes to post in the appropriate category? I am on pg one right now doing the same. If you come across any "Shue advice" just copy it to your computer with the month and year and when Kyra sets up that Forum...we can post it there. Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions.

Shue's forum is made. When you all are sure you have all her advice copied into her new forum here..... I'll close that forum so that it's a 'read only' forum until shue returns.

Keep me posted,

Can we have a "misc" forum, too? I found a recipe for strawberry sauce, but don't know where I should put it!
